I will post pics. Plan on doing my build with parts purchased through Tacoma World. Just getting started. On Vin's list for wheels. Found some slightly used rear Sway A Way shocks, paypal sent today. Here we go. Still looking for Sway A way front coil overs, a good leaf spring pack, light racing UCA's, and related items.

damn, now im in a toss up, the matte silver, matte gunmetal, and kinda going away from the matte blacks now, jeeze, once i see a mag silver rim on a dcsb mag grey, ill know what i want then

 

So correct me If im wrong, But i may have misundertsood. With a 3" lift & 285/70/17 on the stealth 6 rims, you would NOT have to do the cab mount chop?

 

Aftermarket UCAs or no? Theres still more factors than just amount of lift and wheels specs. I had to do the CMC with that size on scs stealth 6 with 2.5" of lift and light racing UCAs with 2.7 caster. I may knock the added caster down to +1 on the UCAs in attempt to move my wheel foward in the wheel well with the LCA.

 

Are you doing a waiting list on the colors you don't have in stock?

 

Personally, I would not attempt to run that combo without expecting to need a CMC. With stock uca's you might get away with mud flap removal and a trim of the front of the fender, but you'll be wandering the road like a drunk with your bad alignment.

 

With 285/70/17, I recommend you do the CMC mod especially if you plan to do any off-roading. You can probably get away with it with 275/70/17 if it's strictly a daily driver. Keep in mind that some tires are more aggressive than others so the amount of rubbing can vary.
