So much combinations with these spindles!! SO HARD TO CHOOSE!!
    my measurements are:

    20 3/4 front

    22 1/4 back

    any suggestions?

    I'm thinking about going with:
    front-
    Maxtrac Spindles +4
Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks (set at 0)
    eibachs +1.6

    rear
    Bilstein 5100(extended)
All Pro standard leaf pack +3

    outcome:
    front 25.35 w/total lift of 5.6"
    back 25.25 w/total lift of 3"

my question is will this lift ride smooth?
how much will the springs(coils/leafs) settle?
I want the truck either completely level or with a slight rake.. I don't really dig the bro lean. I read through this whole thread and i still don't know what to do..

I had the Eibach springs and spindles with the EXPO Pack not the standard and had a slight rake, the Eibachs never really settled any lower for me since they were used.

It did ride really nice but i went with remote resi coilovers because I had heated the 5100's to where I couldnt touch them.

My opinion is it would ride pretty stiff. The coils are 620 rate and noticeably stiffer then your stock coils. If you want to maintain the ride you have now, leave the coils alone and just settle with the 3.75 – 4” lift you get from the spindles.

As for the back, I still say a bit stiff. Keep in mind the stock packs are really soft even with the shorty overload. The AP packs are thinner leaf, but they are 10 + 1 stacked. So you get some softness at some up travel, but then things start to firm up pretty quick the more you compress the rear. Now the truck I've rode in the AP packs (3” not the Expos) were pretty new, so after a few months they may soften up a bit more but this is just my experience with them.

It kind of blows my mind what some people consider is soft. I myself like my suspension to work as intended and flex when needed, not bounce you around even on the smallest bumps making you feel like you’re going to break something.

Love the truck. The perfect height with the perfect sized tires. Great job on your selections.

I found it quite easy to use C-clamps while the leafs are still installed. Clamp them down, unbolt the u bolt and perch and use the C-clamp to expand the leafs enough to slide in the AAL and then use the C-clamps again to tight them down.

Well you run your truck hard :D.. i was planning on mall crawlin ... did you think the eibachs were too stiff like mr.salty said?

so would you prefer stock coils, and bumping the adjustables up..

Preloading to the first setting couldn't be that bad, but what I was saying is just settle with the lift from the spindles and leave everything else stock or with the 5100s set to 0. This will give you the best possible ride in the front maybe even a little better with the bilstiens.

With the back if I were looking for a good ride I'd probably couple the Icon 3 leaf aal with a 1" lift block. I know everyone says bad things about blocks, but a 1" block is perfectly fine. If you don't want to compromise load capability I'd do a 1" block and a longer fitting 1.5” AAL so your over load is maintained. Between the block and lift from your aal selection you should be about level.

With all the trucks I've lifted and from what I have learned over the years, if you want and appreciate a good ride in terms of commuting on the road and your satisfied with the performance when off-roading, keep things simple and change very little; the beauty of spindles and owning a 2wd is achieving lift without compromising ride quality. If your focus is more on Off-Road capability with lift, expect a stiffer ride on the road unless you’re looking to pay big dollar for COs and having the coils selected based on weight of truck and desired height, and shocks valved specifically for your truck and the feel/performance you’re looking for.

Alright, thats enough of me running my mouth on a Friday morning :D
