    It's tough to move around in a career, but that's how you can do well in this industry. My brother in law Rick did it..30 years now in the body shop, he worked for dealers and indie shops. About 2-3 yrs ago he was bumped from flat rate to hourly so he left. He worked at a couple of places and then the Chevy store called asking what it would take to get him back. He said back to flat rate and never move me off it again..they jumped at it. The other guy when he left was turning out 4 cars to Rick's 8 plus and Rick would rarely ever have a car come back that he fixed. Mind you, he dropped out of high school and makes a killing regardless.

    i gotta do the 90k mile service, and know for sure that if i change my own plugs, the truck will be running on 1.5 cylinders after, the diff oil would get everywhere EXCEPT in the diffs, and the T-case oil would blow out probably a mile up the road. I'd also probably put the engine oil in the transmission oil fill hole... :eek:

    Hopefully everyone else got more done on their Tacoma yesterday than I did...:eek:....Picked up the Lexus and totally forgot about everything else :cool:

    Made it home long enough to put Mommas essentials into it and then a loooooooong drive along the coast....Hampton is just starting to OPEN UP and the weather agreed ...;)....

    1st Blinky's of the season,scoped out all the little seafood places for Friday night dinners along Rt 1 and 1A....Now to "face the music" with my truck.... it will be a QUICK detailing tonight before the sun sets....:)
