What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Mud flaps trimmed...5 in. off the front and 3 in. off the back. No more meat curtains

 

Blacked out all the chrome badges and completely removed the "Toyota" from the tailgate. Replaced both air filters. Put in led map and dome bulbs. a very good day workin on the taco! (no pics, I know, useless )

 

Yesterday - added OEM bed mat and had tracks installed on my SnugTop for future RTT rack.

Today - oil change, wash and wax.

 

Sanded whole rim with 2000 grit sand paper, wiped off with mineral spirits and used the primer paint and clear coat in the pic

 

Roast beef curtains or meat flaps is more acceptable.

 

Washed the pollen off...for a little while.

 

Clay bared and waxed.

 

Plasti-dipped the valiance, painted the radiator in anticipation of getting my satoshi and dropped a trd hood off to be painted that I picked up on Craigslist. Oh, and attempted the BHLM one side went perfect the other... not so much. So i ordered some online.

 

took of the remaining mud flap in the rear, other was a casualty in the forest a while back.

Checked on my skids to make sure everything was okay, and a good thing too. One of the four crossmeber bolts was loose (hand movable) and the others needed a snugging up. Now my mid skid isn't going anywhere .

left light is just a hair tilted to the left, but not too bad. I'm not going to worry about it; I'd do something if it was leaning the other way.

funniest thing though, I pulled up in a parking lot of a CVS to aim the headlights (had a perfect spot to do it; flat ground and a wall), and as I'm messing with it some random guy with an 05 (who's truck I've seen around town) stopped and we just stating talking about our Tacomas and other Toyota trucks in the past

Me too! Just got them on two days ago. Wish I had the flag going to the front though..

 

Installed my B.A.M.F plate bumpers support brackets. I feel a little more comfortable recovering using the bumper now.

That would have been as simple as changing which side you placed them on...

 

Wasn't thinking..

 

unloaded about 150lbs of gear/tools and

changed my neighbors Tundra front breaks(pads/rotors)..it squeaked so bad in reverse everyone knew when he was home

 

Installed 2.5" Kings 12" Stroke, B.A.M.F. Shock relocation buckets and a custom Deavers 5" lift pack. Went and flexed it a lil and took pics then washed it Oh and installed Spidertrax 1.25" spacers in the rear..

 

How close is the tire to rubbing the shock at full compression and what size spacers do you have?
