    Mud flaps trimmed...5 in. off the front and 3 in. off the back. No more meat curtains :eek:

    Blacked out all the chrome badges and completely removed the "Toyota" from the tailgate. Replaced both air filters. Put in led map and dome bulbs. a very good day workin on the taco! (no pics, I know, useless :rolleyes:)

    Yesterday - added OEM bed mat and had tracks installed on my SnugTop for future RTT rack.

    Today - oil change, wash and wax.

    Sanded whole rim with 2000 grit sand paper, wiped off with mineral spirits and used the primer paint and clear coat in the pic

    Plasti-dipped the valiance, painted the radiator in anticipation of getting my satoshi and dropped a trd hood off to be painted that I picked up on Craigslist. Oh, and attempted the BHLM one side went perfect the other... not so much. So i ordered some online.

    took of the remaining mud flap in the rear, other was a casualty in the forest a while back.

    Checked on my skids to make sure everything was okay, and a good thing too. One of the four crossmeber bolts was loose (hand movable) and the others needed a snugging up. Now my mid skid isn't going anywhere :).

    aimed after the retrofit :)

    left light is just a hair tilted to the left, but not too bad. I'm not going to worry about it; I'd do something if it was leaning the other way.

    funniest thing though, I pulled up in a parking lot of a CVS to aim the headlights (had a perfect spot to do it; flat ground and a wall), and as I'm messing with it some random guy with an 05 (who's truck I've seen around town) stopped and we just stating talking about our Tacomas and other Toyota trucks in the past :D
