My LED bar and pods arrived from USPS today. Wiring 'em up as we speak. Head over to my build thread round 8ish, I should have some comparison pics.

I went ahead and ran the compressor wiring to the dash and installed the switches. I really like the ARB wiring harness, they make it really easy.


I need to clean this biatch.

When it is back on the tires I'm gonna drive it to work and blow it out with the air hose

I cleaned up the rock light wiring, cut out all the excess wire and spliced them back together. Then I picked up a new battery and pos. terminal, and some cables and terminals for my fuse block. I'm going to make some fuse block brackets at work tomorrow, and stop by a shop down the street one day this week and have them fix up the cables for my breaker and fuse block.





Then I hooked up the compressor and tested it. It works great but I need to fix a leak at the pressure switch.

It almost is, I just need to take the stands out . I really hope the transfer case shows up this week so I can get that in and build a driveshaft. I wanted to drive this thing so bad this weekend.

 

Damn....seems like this truck has been down for almost a year now....

 

It feels like it . I was pretty unmotivated for a while but I am ready to get it back together now.

 

Yeah, but with all the time waiting on the crawler and transfer case, you took your time and did a good job building it up. Looks damn good, and will be a completely different truck when you do get a chance to drive it.

Yes it does. I will probably get a 4xinno cage soon.

 

The guy I bought my runner from put a custom cage in his that he did a little fan work to to make it fit. It looks pretty good when I get to my computer I'll see of I can find a picture.

 

I'm thinking about getting a pickup cage and having some more tube welded to the factory bar so I dont have yo mess with the rear seatbelts. I may call Mobs fab first and see if he can build me one.

 

That sounds interesting. Let me know what you come up with.
