It really does seem a lot of new guys just lay into people I don't take anything on here personally its the internet I mean seriously who cares what someone said to you just laugh it off

 

man i love lurking on TW it gives me something to do and helps me understand how to work on my tacoma. I am always fascinated watching threads about chris 4x4 and Brian r doing a diff oil change or monkeyproof's thread of step by step e locker and 3rd member removal/installation. You guys that have been on TW for a long time have taught me alot.

 

It's not personal attacks that are off-putting to me, that's not the reason I was thinking about this. The thing that gets me is people seem out to be generally UNhelpful. Someone would rather pick apart you're grammar than give you a decent answer to point you in the right direction.

I don't know, I just genuinely don't understand why folks have been getting so uptight lately.

I agree completely with this post. I may be within the age range of said angry folks, but I happen to think that the anger is disgusting and abhorrent... In fact the other week I was berated for something I didn't even say, I simply agreed with an earlier post and that led to pitiful internet tough talk and insults. I stated that this was not a place for such foolishness and mistreatment and he felt that it was his right to lay into me and inform me that I was a "fuck stick". Even after moderators got involved, he got merely a slap on the wrist. I feel that these individuals should be punished swiftly and harshly. If you feel like you are above the CoC on this website, you shouldn't be allowed to partake in the benefits this site has to offer.... These children (and some adult members) should be taught a lesson.... Just my 2 cents.

 

This is true, I'm on here and expedition portal. Been over to ttora a few times for different threads, but largely, I'm here. I've not been part of a forum before this. Grown to like the people, learned a TON, and now kinda sorta organize and run the Alaska group of tacomas.
