Looks like you're ready for some Dakars or to add a lot of weight to the front.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
ROFLMAO! I love this thread :)

OK Old Man Emu experts, so you install the lift and the truck is dead level. You install a bunch of armor and the truck dips 1/2-1" in the front. Add a spacer to the front to get it level again? Trying to weigh out my options.

    3" OME lift 885s & Dakars riding on 33" KM2s
    Yes.
    On mine 885s & Dakars = 3" front & rear.
Add sliders -1/4" front & rear.
Add full set of skids -1/2" front.
Add 1/4" spacers to regain 1/2" of front lift.
Final outcome 2 3/4" front & rear with smoother ride than before armor.

Difference at the rear for me using this method is 1.4 degrees

Difference at the front is 3.85 degrees

So 2.45 overall I guess , does that mean I want to reduce my CB drop height ?

This method seems more confusing to me than the " just align the front and rear pinions " program

Removing my CB drop puts me at :

Difference at rear is 2 degrees

Difference at front is 2.4 degrees

So overall ifference of 0.4 degrees which I think is what you were alluding to strive for

I'll drive it like this for a bit and see how it behaves

so looks like i am going to pull the trigger on the full OME setup, my question; there are plans in the future for a bumper, should i go with the 886's now, or get the 885's and upgrade when i get my bumper.....?

I would get the 885's then upgrade the springs later. Then again, how soon is the "FUTURE"?

Do the 885's then. Or wait a couple weeks and see if you find a setup in the BUY SELL TRADE (Trading Pit) area for a better price. Hell, you might find a KING or ICON setup for the same price used as the OME kit...
