Haha normally that's all I spend. $1 to fill the bucket, $1 to wet the truck, and $1 to wash off the soap.

But I was dealing with getting all of this off today....

Oh and I still have plenty of chips and scratches, I'll buff it or get it professionally restored some day...

I don't know if he's asking if I did that, he's suggesting it, or if he's asking if it would work? Haha

I'm just going to cut my exhaust pipe right as it curves downward behind the axle soon, it got in the way Saturday when I was flexing.

So I finally decided to paint my flares M3Bassman! I went with the Rustoleum bedliner instead for painting my flares just because it was cheaper, and I used it on my bed rails and is still in good shape.

So far I've only painted one since that's all I have time for, so by Thursday I should be done! Haha The back flare looks so much better now.

Common, man! Stop posting pics of your truck. It's making me seriously consider picking up a set of 15'' rims and going with KM2s instead.

Also, I know you talked a little about it already, but how much trimming did you do? Also, what gears do you have? Notice much power loss with the 33s?

    Haha DO IT!!!!! :D

I haven't done much trimming at all, it still rubs because the plastic I cut out left a slight jagged edge and got snatched by the tires when I was wheeling Saturday. Once I cut the part that's sticking out the only rubbing I'll have will be the mud flaps, which I don't consider that a problem.

I have 4:10 gearing, and as for power loss it's not much. A little more throttle uphill, but for cruising on the highway I only went up maybe 100-200 RPM at 65mph.

I don't know how much my gas mileage took a hit because I haven't gotten a good highway drive out of it. But I'm thinking I may have lost 1-2mpg. So I'm probably getting about 17-18 right now.

I have 4.10 gearing too. Are they better for 33s than other gears? Or would regearing be beneficial in the future? My mileage is already shitty for some reason so I guess I really wouldn't be worried about that too much.

To get back to stock you would want to regear to 4:33's, but for how much regearing costs, it wouldn't be beneficial enough to me. Especially since I want to go with 35's some day I'm just going to go with 4:56's or 4:88's later on.

Cool. Yeah I doubt I'd regear anytime soon anyway. My brother had an 01 with 33s and it was an absolute dog going up any hills with any sort of extra weight in the bed. I don't know what gears he had though. That's what I'm afraid of. I want to tow a raft or small aluminum boat in the future.

Advice for 33's on stock gears (4.10). Stay off the interstate on windy days or dont plan on going faster thand 65 thats where i have issues. 5th gear is just too doggy. Anything below is just fine to me though.

Lol, well the highway I drive on (literally the ONE highway up here) is always very windy and has a ton of mountain passes, so that will be interesting haha. Maybe a 32 will be just fine for me then. Just don't want them to look too small with the lift, mainly in the rear. And I'm auto, so no 5th gear for me. I usually turn off OD when I'm going up steep inclines with a trailer or load in the bed anyway.

It will be a full OME setup with their AAL. Not sure on which coils just yet, but it will either be 882 or 883s. I have 265/75/16s now, but was thinking of going to 32x11.5x15. But only because the tires are so much cheaper on 15s.

Sorry to hijack your build thread here, pcbuilder.

Well it's more like $50 per tire cheaper up here....so it would be worth it on the next set I buy. BUT you are right, it does seem a bit odd to do that.

I think I've asked you this before, but why did you go with 883s? I want a bumper eventually and thought I'd be able to swing it this summer but it's looking less likely.
