Anyone know how to get a Bondo smear off of a rubber gasket? A neighbor was helping me prepare my hood and grill for paint and he got some Bondo on the rubber gasket on top of the grill. I called Toyota to just buy a new one and you have to buy the whole grill. Figures. So anyone know a good way to get this bondo off of a rubber gasket? I'm guessing maybe finger nail polish remover but am not sure what solvent will break down Bondo enough to remove w/o damaging the rubber itself. Thoughts?

That seems more like the collision deductible not the comp.

^ I am sure if his comp is $1000 his collison is the same and just a grill I wouldnt worry about putting in a claim for it prob hurt him more in the long run

Grinding is better than sanding something.

Just orders the 5100/AAL lift. 15x8 wheels and 33x12.50 tires...
Does anyone here use a CB radio? I mean, ACTUALLY use it? I have been toying with getting one, but I am not sure if it would actually be useful in the Denver area. I do some off-roading (mainly around the Estes Park area), but not a whole lot and I was just wondering how useful these radios are? I also do a lot of 14er climbing and just general hiking (some trailheads are relatively remote). Any info would be grately appreciated.

cb radios have limited ranges, so if you're out on your own, most places that you will be going, you'll be out of range of other people

cb radios really help when you're with others who will be within a mile or so of you with another cb radio

if you do a lot of solo stuff and you are looking for something to keep in touch with help, you'd need a sat phone or similar

not familiar with ham radios, but i think those have a greater range, but idk...

but i use my cb every time off-roading..as long as others in the group have them...it's a great tool to have..also helps on the long drives out to moab with a convoy

Green river below Flaming Gorge. Went to fish, but there are tons of dirt roads and trails that you could explore all day out there.
