Weather was damn near perfect, got a little windy Saturday afternoon, but other than that great. The trip this weekend was kinda recon for floating once the flows pick up, pretty low right now.

 

I actually did use mine this winter.
I got one with NOAA weather channels preset, and every morning warming up the truck, I would get the next few days forecast.

other than that its good to have out on the trails for communication.

 

Nice, yeah with the lack of snow and rain we have almost written off rafting season and are planning float trips. I will prolly start kayaking this year just for excitement.

 

what year / model of land cruiser would be the best to transform into a trail whale?

 

That's what the recall is over? Is that even illegal? Or going to hold any water? I thought it was for ignoring the rights of the people... I'm not sure what the laws are in CO I'm about to be new there in a couple weeks.

 

I like the 20 series and 40 series but if your talking tail whale I like the 80 series.
