Typically, it is illegal to have more than 4 uncovered lights in the front of a vehicle, but I did a quick search of Texas law, and it looks to be outlined that you can't have more than four lit lights on at one time.

    Sec. 547.302 (d)
    : Texas Transportation Code

drove down to JAX, FL to do a little shopping with the other half and going down im doing about 80 +- on the hwy and on driver side i hear a whistling type noise, on and off, not constant

really hard to explain. at first i thought it was something with my tire by instinct so i slowed down and was pulling over an it stopped on 95. checked the tires, lugs were tight. checked the weather stripping around window, seemed fine to me (this is what i still think it is although im not sure, its not the typical wind nose, its like a creaking whistling, i thought it was maybe my shocks or suspension but when i took it over a bad road it didnt do it at all) it seemed like it was only doing it above 75mph

any ideas? pm me if you will

slow down to the speed limit? :notsure:

I hear ALOT of wind noise around my door seals, one of the things I'm having them look at when I take it in for the rattling headrest and squealing door lock later this month.

Took some crappy cell phone camera photos of the truck still with winter wheels/tires installed. Photos turned out not as crappy as I expected...

Tell me about it... $240 for the first speeding ticket and I'm estimating this one today is going to be another $240 plus $180 for the light citation... So about $660 for the two. I've already set a court date for the first one and will most likely do the same for this one today... See if a judge can show me some mercy :sorry:

Thanks for that info Matt... So I guess I have a total of 7 uncovered lights however only 3 are auxiliary (which are uncovered) the other 4 are my headlights and fogs... But my aux's weren't even on when I was cited?! smh...

Are large LED light bars considered a single light?

I got pulled over by the game warden in Texas for having four 6" offroad lights on and he told me I'm not allowed to drive with them on, period. I know this was a lie but he had accused me of spot lighting already so I didn't feel like arguing.

You can spotlight whatever you want....I've been stopped multiple times for it by cops and Fwc and they have never said anything other than asking me what I had seen......that's weird

Most states it is illegal to spot wildlife. ANY wildlife. Charges get compounded if they find a fire arm or hunting weapon in the vehicle.
