I suspect with them anonymity fosters irresponsibility, who is going stop their rant, there is no consequence. Ban them and they just go onto another forum.

I would say don't judge people by their post count. Someone can jump in and be a complete d-bag and others jump in on one side or the other or the thread can go completely civil.. always hard to tell. As a newer member, I can say a lot of times its the high post counters who like to tweak people too. Everyone has their bad days and something will get their dander up and just like that: Angry goober with a keyboard.
