ok cool thanks. I have a diamondback, i for get what my buddy has that goes with me some. both are all stock nothing has been changed.

I have put a tarp or blanket on the tail gate before but the bikes kinda want to fall over in turns and some bumps, i all ways end up using a bungie cord or rope to hold them upright. I’m getting tired of do that, and want a better way to transport them and also locking would be nice to no one can take them.

yeah mine still tilt a little but i just wrap a bungee around the seat post and connect it to the rail and its fine. the mounts i posted are alright. im guessing you need a 9mm, i guess it would be if you pull the wheel off without having to take the axle completely off.

the delta ones use a regular lock where the rocky mounts need a special part to lock. the deltas are cheaper too. when i attached my mount i didnt use the right size washer so it could still move, im sure if you use the right washer or whatever to mount it it will be fine though.

Ok so I have a issue with my Jekyll, whenever I pedal there is cracking coming from the crank ( sounds like cards in the spokes) what is it?

yeah. and i’ll take it off and see what size it it. i know when i take the front(or even the rear) wheel off the whole thing comes off, axle and all. don’t need any tools or anything. it has the quick release thing or what ever.(idk what you would call it.) i can get pic if that would help.

What happens if you hand pedal the bike? The sound is probably a bb.

Yea man, rode off the Parkway above Sherando Lake a few weeks ago in between snows and ride most often west of Staunton on North Mtn, Shenandoah Mtn, etc. I really enjoy the trails near the Augusta/Bath county borders. Hard to go wrong with anything west of Staunton/Harrisonburg.

It's a great rear tire in certain conditions. Mainly fast rolling, hard-packed soils where the rolling resistance is greatly reduced by a tire like this. I would not trust it in muddy, rooty, rocky areas and because of that, it will probably be removed soon since the majority of my riding is in sketchy stuff.
You couldn't even make the Crossmark in a 2.1" work?

More than likely. Not to bad of a job with the right tools.

    Whole bottom bracket. Yes.

Swapping the bottom bracket is pretty straight forward. Just remember that you'll need a BB that matches your cranks (unless you're gonna upgrade).

You'll need a BB tool, some grease and a couple of rags to clean up the old stuff. Depending on the BB tool, you might also need something to pull the crank off the spindle.

Could be but more than likely, if it's making noises when you pedal by hand, it's gonna need replacing.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Got the Nomad back from CBO on Friday, Jeff my mechanic pretty much said that since I'm super OCD about keeping her clean, the BB, headset, pivots, rear suspension links were pretty much mint but he went ahead and did the service---could have gotten another 6 months easily without a regrease/rebuild.

Spring in Cali, gotta love it :)
