    IIRC, they stopped them in 2012.

    Have them on my 2012, but noticed not on 2013's. Really not a big deal, I have two random bolts I tossed in one that I may or may not need at some point. They're still there so. I haven't found a solid use for them yet, so if you don't have them, don't sweat it.

    well there ya go...stopped in 2013. these year to year minimal changes are getting annoying to keep up with.

    +1. I put some lights in there to make up for the lack of cargo light from the factory. That's something Toyota should change. I guess then we wouldn't have a reason to put better lights back there.

    Cut some aluminum plates and sprayed Bedliner on them

    They are breather holes. If you obstruct them your rear end can't breathe and you'll burn up diff oil like crazy, but whatever do what you want
