What goes in these 2 holes

Have them on my 2012, but noticed not on 2013's. Really not a big deal, I have two random bolts I tossed in one that I may or may not need at some point. They're still there so. I haven't found a solid use for them yet, so if you don't have them, don't sweat it.

 

I did like many others have done on here, I installed lights in them.

 

+1. I put some lights in there to make up for the lack of cargo light from the factory. That's something Toyota should change. I guess then we wouldn't have a reason to put better lights back there.

Got around to doing something about the 2 holes

Cut some aluminum plates and sprayed Bedliner on them

I want to do the light mod in mine.

 

They are breather holes. If you obstruct them your rear end can't breathe and you'll burn up diff oil like crazy, but whatever do what you want

 

Mine are secure, but jeez... I could have replaced both of them 12 times for what I paid for the cap!

 

Same here, same truck... no holes.

 

Why is the bottom of your bed all wavy?

 

Its called a bedmat

 

Since my bed stays dry (canopy) i installed the rear differential breather in the driver side cubby hole.
