Idaho BS thread in the PNW

I put alot of miles on the rig this time of year. Most of the sheds I've found this year are tword cle ellum and down in the blue mountains.

 

I don't know the 'blue mountains', is that like NE of cle elum? I was figuring you'd be south of I90.

 

The blues are the mountains east of walla walla. really rugged but very beautiful scenery down there.

pounding out a 4 page paper at 2 am...no big deal!

 

ya know I have done many a late night study sessions...and to a point you are not really helping yourself IMO. If you study study study then go to bed its like you dump half what you learned out onto the pillow and forget it. Especailly if the test is the next day. You need the solid sleep more than the repetition of a few more terms to memorize. Evening before and right after dinner is when I like to study. Relaxed, focused, you can rewind afterwards that night and collect your thoughts...very dojo type shit

Macro or Micro?

 

ya, especially as you get into higher and higher div classes. Its ALL about the test grade, thats what gives you a pass or fail. If you dont truly learn it and study you are screwed.

How do you not know if it's macro or micro lol?? Are you talking about supply and demand internationally or efficiency type stuff within a country?

sounds like micro economics. It's all about giving you a rounded knowledge base so you are not so single minded, same with the liberal arts classes...it's nice to experience something new and learn something sort of cool for the sake of learning it and not "when am I going to use this in my life". Because if we only learned things that directly applied to what we thought we were going to do, we would find ourselves in a whole lot of situations that we would be SOL in.

is it 5 years because its really 5 years, or is it a 4 year degree that actually finishing in 4 would be nothing short of suicide.

 

at my school a grand total of 9% of chemistry majors graduated in 4 years...

yup same, if you have a real degree graduating in 4 means 16-17 credits each semster. and when your classes are freaking hard with a large workload it's just a recipe for disaster for most people. I a very easily distracted and while once I get started on home work and studying I can go on for hours...getting started and focused at a reasonable time of day is just hard for some reason. If you work, or want to have a life finish in 4 just aint going to happen. So ill take an extra year, focus a bit more on less classes each semester and enjoy the ride.

certainly nervous about next semester...accounting 304, as my current prof. said...is one of the 2 classes that determine if you actually can get this degree. Your previous classes taught you nothing you need to know and that class will rip you to shreds...thanks for the confidence lol. It's all accounting theory haha, what shit means and how it is analyzed. Im planning on buying the text book over the summer and reading the shit out of it and taking notes so when the class comes I will be reading it a second time and already have a base of what is happening.
