Bill and I should both be there. Hopefully each driving our trucks. We're going to be working overtime all week trying to get our trucks ready enough for the meet. They may not be 100%, I know mine won't be, but should be functional enough to make the drive and wheel.

Should be??? I don't wanna have to tow ANYBODY back to birmingham! No, that doesn't mean I am pulling the truck up there. I am actually driving it! Unlike some that we know!

brian... get your floor jack and a piece of 2x4. set the 2x4 on the floor jack then the drill on it. slowly lift the jack to apply pressure to the frame. then all you need is a simple leather glove..... learned after having to drill i think 12 holes in the frame of the black truck for the allpro sliders. just dont get carried away with the pressure applied from the jack or you will snap a bit and have a hell of a lot more than just metal shavings to worry about!

Hey, are the birmingham and surrounding areas meeting somewhere? If so? Same place as last two times? Also, what time do we need to meet there?

Can I bring a cv shaft to be replaced? I am sure with everyone there, we can knock that out in 30 minutes!
On a side note, I will have my wife and her brother with me.

It's not hard, jack the truck up and change it real quick. Takes about 30 min.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Yeah sliders suck. There are 29 holes to drill on each side for my sliders.

No, it's not the same one. That was on MY truck. This one is on Alex's truck. I know it's not hard to do, I just hate digging into it! Lol

I will put the wheel spacers on when I do it anyways. The inside of the rim is rubbing the putter tie rods!

yeah they sure are.... but you only have to worry about those when you put second gen wheels on a first gen.... otherwise the putter tie rods dont even show up..... unless you get in a sand trap!

thats one of the big reasons why the allpros became weld on sliders when they got put on the '11. wasnt drill all those holes again!! had like 12 on bottom then like 10 or 12 on the sides of the frame. plus that many holes cant be good for a frame????

Come on up bud! It's just a great time! No body is really showing off, we're just here to have a good time, drink a few brews, eat some good food and have a good sanctioned excuse to have guy time! So come on!

We'll meet Saturday Morning between 9:00am - 9:30am at the Wavaho Gas station at the corner of Hwy 231 and Hwy 36. Then Anyone showing up after 9:30am just give me a call or email me at kfklucas@gmail.com and I'll give you an address and directions.

The easiest way for you B'ham guys to come up is if you plan on using I-65 is to take it all the way up to exit 328 (Hartselle Cracker Barrell Exit) head east on 36 and go straight till it dead ends at Hwy 231! That is about a 15-20min trip from Wavaho to the interstate.
