It's been out a couple times. Of course, as luck would have it, I had a great time out last time, bought some sliders for future trips and now it turns out I'm going to have an expensive year so I probably won't be out again for a while. Can't afford to break the truck on a trail :(

The front ones are already up high in the engine compartment for the 2nd gens. I haven't looked for it yet. Saw pics in the sticky

Gonna pull apart my console and a little of the dash for my CB wires. Hate electrical shit and from past experience these plastics dont always go back in easy. Hate this shit.

I know how to fix them but damn parts are expensive! Damn LCA bushing replacement ended up costing me around $400 and that wasn't even anything major! This year I think I'm going to have to replace some more of my front end and probably my carrier bearing also. Once I'm more financially secure, I'll take more risks with it. I'm actually thinking about trading my motorcycle to a dual sport so I can still get out on the trails :)

You're right, the front ones are already pretty high and the transmission one is on top of the tranny so you'd have to be in pretty deep to get that one (ask Alex just how deep :boink:). If you frequent deep water crossings, it wouldn't be a bad idea to relocate all of them. Search for a thread called SCUBA mod or something similar. Someone did a nice write up on relocating all of the breathers.

Damn right, ballin' on a budget. :D

The dashes on the 2nd Gen actually aren't to bad to make everything match back up afterwards. Just be careful not to break the clips when you remove the dash and it mates back up pretty easily. I've had mine apart several times, no problem.

    I don't, she does

I was looking at the double cab tundra (not the crewmax) and I love it! I just wish it wasn't as massive. I still don't mind it though.

I'd love to have a 5.7 and get the same mileage I'm getting with my 4Runner on 33s lol

I'm with you on that one Pugga, although my problem is this time of year one of my expensive hobbies really costs me some coin. Concerts for the summer are coming in full force..so far I have Rockstar Mayhem, 2 days of NE Metalfest..still have to buy for Clutch and hoping I can fit Lamb of God in there. The one I really want to see is Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper, not sure of the date yet though..and of course there will be more announced.

Depends what year. 07-09 didn't have extended breathers for the trans and transfer case, but 10-present have them extended to the engine bay on the passenger side of the fire wall. Only issue is the rear diff isn't extended.... Might have a milkshake going on lol
