I have much in all kinds of cracks and crevices.

Update from the past weekend off offroad excitement with the fords:
Blew some internals in my rack and pinion resulting in a small truck with big tires and bad alignment a pain in the ass to drive. Getting new rack and pinion and tie rod ends and installing new adjustable UCAs at the same time before final alignment. Truck should drive like a dream afterwards. Until then, parked in the driveway representing the muddy tragedy.

Also replaced the shifter shaft and seal with the ones Marlin Crawler sells on my 93. Shifter is good and tight. Just waiting on the new CV axles to come in along with the little lift and then going to try and take the tires off the tan truck to take the 4x4 out for a spin!

Yay, another 4x4. But will those tires fit? Aren't they 35s?

    Happy Easter.

Nah 33's. just by holding them nearby they should fit. Older pickups have decently wide fenders.

Wanted to change my parking lights to LEDs tonight. Figured it would only take 5 minutes, so around 10pm, I went out to to it and told the gf I would be right back.

While putting the LED in, it wiggled off the connector. Needless to say it fell in the light housing. I spent the last two hours taking the headlight and grill out of the truck. What a pain in the ass. It's probabally the dumbest design imaginable.

On the lighter side, anyone that needs help with how to take them out, let me know. Lol.

I really need to just stop trying to shove LEDs everywhere.

Did your blinkers freak out with the lower draw LEDs?
I had to buy a new relay for the fuse panel for mine.

Dan, are you buying LEDs local or ordering them.

I'm not into having all LEDs, but would want to swap out the two front turn signal / DTRL bulbs to minimize the destruction to the lens from heat.

I ordered mine off of a Forum member who sells them. I replaced my interior bulbs with the bright white LED's (I'll post pics tonight) and my tag lights also. I was contemplating doing the same with my fromt signal lights but I dom't know if it's even worth it if I have to get a relay for it.

I'm ordering them from a former member. His username is csjumper2003. He's the guy that has a for sale thread in the second GEN marketplace. i tried ordering said off the Internet, but they were crap, so I ordered from him. Not only with a cheaper, but they work perfectly. He sells a whole kit for the daytime running light/turn signals. It comes with the resistors and everything. Check his stuff out.

I'm not a big fan of throwing LEDs in random places, but I really like the way the interior looks with the LEDs, and the tag looks much cleaner with the white light as opposed to the factory yellow. I thought about doing the daytime running lights as well, but I think the factory bulb is probably better in that situation. I heard that people have problems with the lens melting, but never actually seen it.

Remember I mentioned above sells the whole set up for you, so it's basically plug-and-play from what I understand. Be careful though, don't want to drop any LEDs inside your headlights… that's some bullshit.

I actually didn't replace the turn signals, just the parking lights in the top corners of the light. Didn't like the way they came out easily (falling in the headlight), so I just put the stock bulbs back in it. It was basically a waste of time… FAIL

The bulbs in the top corner are the 168 bulbs that you can use for the map lights, as well as tag lights. I figured, hey, I might as well since I had an extra bulb...

I may swing by there today. Going to the mall this afternoon.
We were going a decent speed so I only caught a glimpse of the area between the storage place and where those trees start and your could NOT miss it so its got to be a decent sized sign.

Also, does anyone do the gauge cluster mod? i know there is a member in tampa that does it but forgot his name.
