I'll be needing a meet soon. I ordered the rack bushings, and might need a little help with those.

I agree. I definitely think it'll have more power with a SC or turbo'd, but I wouldn't call it fast by a long shot. Fast for a truck on 35's and loaded with armor maybe. By the time you regear it to handle that much power so you don't grenade everything when you romp on the skinny pedal, you're top speed will be far from fast. Unless racing to 45mph is the intent then by all means...
    :burnrubber:

For the cost of everything required to do it right, I'd rather just buy a tuner and mod the crap out of it to go fast. Not to mention the handling of a car with lower COG is so much better and safer. Just my .02

Na, nothing wrong with a 6" lifted taco on 34s taking corners at higher speeds than most. :)

My truck lifted on 265s got the same timeslips on the quarter mile at bandi with a dodge ram 2500 chipped. So yah the 4.0 has balls when it comes to a double cab lifted.

I would not say it has balls, the 4.0 has some peep but its not crazy. I mean I would say OST's has balls. Pretty close to stock tires and the sc.

So I have a question for y'all. Im kind of in a pickle here and dont really know what to do. As some of you know I was laid off last wednesday. I have some friends that got me connected with a non-profit in Boulder that is pretty much my dream job. I am qualified and it seems like its a good possibility that it will work out, just not sure when. On the other hand, I have applied to a few jobs and have already gotten some calls back about my applications and resume. These are pretty much the same thing that I have been doing for the past few years, so not exactly what i WANT to be doing. I have not been offered a job yet, but my question is, do I hold off for the dream job, or take one of the others and count my blessings for only being unemployed for a short time, or take one of the other jobs, and quit if I get offered the dream job? Im not sure what the professional thing to do is? I know i need to take care of myself and look out for whats best for me, but I have never been in this position before and dont know what to do. Thanks guys.

So your dream job is non profit?, stability is the most important thing I think ? But a having dream job would be awesome

Is it going to be weeks, months, longer for the dream job? If its weeks I'd wait but any longer I would take one of the other jobs and just have to quit after getting my dream job. I would not want to be jobless more than a few weeks.

the dream job is with a non-profit that provides logistical support (maintenance, inventory, installation, etc.) for NASA, NOAA, the National Science Foundation and some other research based programs around the world in the arctic and antarctic.

You still make a salary. The organization is just non-porfit. No one (investors, shareholders) is making a mass quantity of money off of the profits, the money that is left over after all the overhead is paid.
