    Why are you wanting to buy a frame yourself? You're within the 15 year mark? Have you gotten it checked before and they denied you?

    The frame replacement is only for 01-04s.

    If you have a 95-00 and your frame fails they buy back the truck.

    Oh, that's weird... Doesn't seem fair to me that an 01 can go in and get the frame replaced, but a 00 can't.

    Well I'm SOL with the frame rust. My dealership will not tell me if my truck was ever inspected for the frame recall. It does not show up as an active recall so I assume it was, but they won't tell me because it's "private information," because I did not own the truck at the time...:confused::confused: Oh, and they wanted to charge me to inspect it. Next time I'm at the dealership I'll make a scene because that's BS.

    EGR came on 95-96s I believe. Then mostly just Cali versions

    There will be a valve on the driver side on the back of the heads I believe. If you have that you have EGR.

    Sorry not much help otherwise.
