I'm a few miles away from hitting 36k on my 07' and Istill have plenty of meet left on the pads. My 97' however, went metal to metal at only 7k on the passenger front but the drivers side still had over 50%. Toyota of El Cajon were a bunch of douche bags saying I never checked them and it was my fault. Later it was discovered that caliper liked to stick and was warrantied. They then got to pay me back for the other parts that went out early as a result.

My wife's CRV is at 72k on the original pads - they're probably made from granite... :)

Driving on the freeway a lot helps.

A lot depends on where you live live in the boonies brakes last for ever in the city about 1/4 the mileage. When I sold my 97 it had 285K on the rear brakes the front had been replaced twice.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
57k miles and still stopping like new.

74k.....doing brakes today. Rotors and pads. Hardly any pad left. Abs kicked on twice this week (dry pavement)on an on ramp that i use atleast four times a week. I am wondering if it has to do with the pads being so low or if the tires made a difference. Just put Duratracs on 265/70/17 with 1.25" spidertrax

I used brand new Brembo rotors. Rust on the hub area already. It's been like three weeks. WTF

I had 134k on my 07's pads when I replaced them, and they still had plenty of miles left on them. I start down shifting a ways before I stop, and don't use the brakes much at all.
