I agree the Gov is going to be back and even crazier. I wonder if he'll send someone in to infiltrate the Prison. Like send Martinez in to 'join the prison group' and report back.

not sure why the newly dead have to already be "zombified" immediately upon death.
a zombie looks like a zombie because it has been exposed to the elements or "the way they died"

if, in the season ender case, Milton had just died....his teeth would not be rotten...his skin would not be discolored :notsure:

maybe the virus could change the eyes immediately... but come on.

it would be scarier if they looked normal

Now, just how is this supposed to be realistic? Are there any real zombies to base this off of? It's just a show - albeit a great one, but still - just sayin...

Look man, they got make-up people employed here, lot's of em, these people's kids got food on their plates because of this show ok? They got ONE job to do, make whatever the damn director calls for to look like a zombie, you expect Milton and Merle to have nice pretty pearly whites and a nice freshly dead skin tone? C'mon man, be reasonable, let these people do their jobs here. If Eva fuckin Menedes wandered onto the set they have to make her look like something hideous, like i said man, one frickin job to do.

I think he was being sarcastic about the job thing, making a joke.

With that, I agree 100% that they shouldn't look 'zombie' aside from maybe the eyes, right away. That's where I was going with the pic of Shane and Merle a few pages back, they both had sunken eyes, course zombie looking skin and blackened mouths. Lame.

    would it make us necrophiliacs?

i could see a possible lack of color due to potential blood loss. does depend on the cause of death though.

Necrophiliacs? Well, an Upton zombie maybe..;)

I don't know why they make them look the way they do. Remember the little girl zombie that was carrying the bear in the first (or second) episode? IIRC, she didn't look all that worn out - no where near Merle and esp the bicycle one in the first. I wonder if the change in the zombie appearance has to do more with public wishes? Still, that is such a trivial thing that it doesn't bother me...
