Can't claim anything, bought from Fish08 and leaving it like it sits. Perfect!

I would be very leery about a sunroof in a DC. They already have some big time issues with the body cracking from stress at the columns. Pretty sure a big ass hole in the roof wouldn't help that issue out.

    This!

I had a sunroof in my 98 taco, so many issues and it was professional installed. Ended up cutting it out, doing a sliding ragtop and that was problematic as well.

I'm seriously considering one for my '13 AccessCab.

I was quoted $1,200 for a Webasto 710. I'm VERY tempted. I'm trying to find any experiences of people that have that specific roof and have leak issues. The shop I'm looking at offers a factory matching 3/36 warranty and does a lot of dealer work.

    EDIT:

My bluetooth microphone is up where most people have mounted their sunroof controls. I'm assuming this would cause an interference. Can anyone comment on this?

Mine is a Webasto 740,cost $995 three years ago, came with a 36 month warranty, never a drop of water, or ANY problems at all. This place puts sunroofs on for most of the new car dealers in the area.

I would love to have a sunroof out here in sunny CA. But that sheet metals is so thin,i would hate to mess with it. not like my "old school" toy, that thing was solid.

I put my daughters carseat in the back.
They all leak, on factory installed ones there is a tray and a drain tube that runs down one of the pillars. At least thats how it was in my EF Civic hatchback.

My factor one doesn't leak, doesn't have a drain tube either.

    Hello,

I just had a Webasto 700 installed on my 2011 double cab. I really love it, but I am annoyed with the wind noise coming from the roof when it is closed. The noise is coming from the front of the sunroof.

Has anyone experienced wind noise while the sunroof is closed? The place that installed it is recommending an air deflector to minimize/eliminate the noise.

I'm wondering if there's some type of adjustment to the roof to close the gap to eliminate the wind noise.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Thanks for the reply. I hope not either! The place is known to be very good. The Toyota dealer in the area uses them for all of their accessory installs.

Yes. It's the Webasto Hollandia. I think the AC's get the 710, and the DC's get the 740. That's what an installer told me, so please take it with a grain of salt.
