I am thinking about getting new shoes for the taco within the next few months. I would like opinions on what you guys think on what would look best. I was thinking of black or painting a set red to match the rest of the taco, but I'm thinking it may look a little cheesy. What do you think? Thanks.

For reference, the taco is bone stock at the moment. I'm hoping to get it lifted a few inches if I can before I get shoes.

    now then

the only thing I would personally consider...is black/chrome/brushed or machined alum

MAYBE with some small red accents if you MUST

    but red wheels...not so much

Black would look cool if you blacked a bunch of other stuff out. But never paint your tires, it doesn't work very well and looks kinda stoopid.

What about black wheels, with a red lip? How do you think that'll come out? Also, anybody have a preference of wheels? I would love ideas to choose from. I have a good buddy that has been looking at TRD wheels, and those look amazing, but for that price, I don't know. What are your thoughts?

Wow, I really do like those pictures with black wheels with the red lip. I'm thinking about doing that. Any ideas about wheels? I do like the ballistics that OakleyTRD suggested. Any others out there? Thanks.

The ballistics are the only black/red wheel that I like. Every now and then there's a RAD red truck down at Power Toyota in Tempe with them. When I bought my truck they said he was the guy that did the lifts for the dealership. It might be worth a drive by to scope them out if he is there.

I'm down there every now and then. If I see it I'll be sure to snap some pics of it. I think the guy might have his own shop too. If I come across it or find anything else about it I'll let you know.
