You're a good man. I don't care what couch says about you.

I got it from http://truckalterations.com/html/access.html based on suggestions I read here. I found out later there was a group buy discussed on TN and could have got it for a few bucks less if I'd told the guy I was a part of that. I forget the exact price, but I think it was around $380. I splurged and got the Limited Edition. The other models are even cheaper. Upon review, their "advertised" price may have gone up a bit, so they're "unadvertised" price may have too. I talked to a guy named Luke. I got the impression he runs this business out of his house as a side job. Still, it got here sooner than I expected with no problems. If you tell him your a mod here he may give you a group buy price.

I'm not sure it follows that the people you got yours from are idiots if it won't fit your truck with a shorter bed.

LOL - no, that's not why they are idiots.

They tried to charge us for an Access cover and then give us an "off" brand. I didn't take 3 miles of driving at 50 MPH to figure out that we had the wrong one. We went rounds for several weeks. Then their warehouse sent out a short bed version (could use that now) instead of the long bed. All in all, it took us 5 weeks to get the correct cover. Then they didn't even install it correctly.

The only good thing I got out of it was a bed mat. I am going to cut that to fit my short bed (because I am cheap).

What's up? I caught you posting on the stay on topic thread. That's my new public enemy number one (step aside, couch)

Mine's got an Access logo near the latch, so I'm confident I got the real deal. I did the install. Took about an hour, but it was dark and I did it inside the cramped garage.

I'm cheap too, that's why I'll get doing the horse trailer mat once I get to a Tractor Supply store.

I'll tell ya what. If you really want, you can be my number 1 enemy again if you stop posting on that stay on topic thread. OK? It's a small price to pay for such a coveted position.

Congrats! I told you early on that page 17 was well within the realm of possibility. The Stay on Topic thread is some serious competition though. That thread, although completely useless, is VERY entertaining. However, it is really not fair to change the criteria in mid-stream. Your goal from the beginning has always been the longest intro thread and I am sure you have that locked up. Having the longest meaningless thread is going to be much tougher when we have people like nd and TheMaster on here :D
