If you're talking about a spacer that goes INSIDE the coil assembly...then....Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

The coilover strut won't be able to handle the pressure. I've seen guys do this (many years ago) and the weld on the strut where the coil sits on - will break. Besides that - It's hard enough compressing the stock coils to get spacers in. Trying to compress an already stiff lift coil to put a spacer in will be downright dangerous even for a wall mount coil compressor. Don't do it!!

New Pioneer stereo, and all 4 speakers with Infinity components. Sirius satellite radio. Deckplate mod done. Door buzzer silenced forever thank God, tinted windows, vent visors, hood protector(bug guard), ceramic pads and new rotors, dechromed EVERYTHING. 2" Lift front 3" rear. Skyjacker AAL's and replacement leafs(and front spacers) from Fatbobsgarage.com. Skyjacker 7000 Hydro rear shocks, those Bilstein 5100 fronts are coming soon!
But are the spacers that go on top of the assembly ok? You know, the ones that bolt to the top of the assembly then bolt to the mount.

You would be much better off to just install a set of 5100's set at 2.5". Less hassle and less stress on all the involved components.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
    you mean a Top-Plate spacer?

best advice: NOOOOO. dont put two lift components together on the same strut. you will break somehting and end up paying the price, which you could have spend lifting it correctly in the first place.

you dont have to buy 5100s.. you could just take out the spacer, and get OME springs, find one item that lifts the amount you want, the more you stack on there, the bigger chace you have at ruining somehting. and youll regret it.

He might mean he has the OEM = Original Equipment Manufacture springs, I take it.
