And all of those brands are definitely not made in the same production plant.
Fram and Pennzoil are the same, made by Allied Signal.
Bosch is now made on the Purolator line, but before Bosch bought Purolator, they were made by Champion Labs.
I have no clue who makes CarQuest, but I would suspect that they are also Champion, same as STP and Supertech.

Maybe Cowboy is talking about air filters, more likely he's just talking out of his ass. Chris4x4 posted another thread showing a bunch of filters that he personally bought and cut open that confirm that.

Nope, not talking out my ass. The place I worked was a Purolator plant and at that time all the filters had paper ends. Now I'm sure things have progressed since then, we were working on proto-types with metal ends when they moved our plant to South Carolina. Considering that was in the early 90's, I'm sure they have perfected things since then. Opinions are like ass holes no matter how you look at it they all smell the same, some just better than others.

^Call up your dealer's parts counter and ask if they carry PTR43-00080. Alternatively you can just order it from the link (which is Toyota of Dallas' online portal).
