Its a real law on the Autobahn in Germany, Drive only right, pass only left. I visited there and it works really well over there. People pass on the left and get back into the right lane as soon as they pass. So I do that here. I wish people would do the same...

i hear the tickets are super expensive though and they are very strict about it. i also heard you have to be 18 and pay to get a license, not sure what is true from what i have heard.

Totally makes sense with the potential for massive closing speeds on slower vehicles

its like 2000 euros for a drivers license. in the first year, if u fuck up just once, its gone.

i do miss drivin over there. almost no stop signs. all yeild. they dont have a lot of wrecks, but when they do, its pretty much game over. and contrary to popular belief, the autobahn isnt go as fast at you want. alot of places is 120k/hr. other places its a suggested speed of 130km/hr. if u go faster than the 130 and involved in a wreck, its your fault no matter what

So just to clarify the process. Slow person being an ass holding up the passing lane (no one here is condoning left hand slow drivers). Rather than passing them (also illegally in the right lane, so now you're both breaking the law) and being on your way, you make said illegal pass, then get in front of slow driver, and proceed to slow down to "teach them a lesson" meanwhile slowing the rest of traffic down behind them, thus making everyone else think you're the douche now. Meanwhile original slow driver is still in their own little world oblivious to the fact you're teaching them a lesson. Makes sense.

So at the end of the day, original person is still driving clueless, you're still pissed, and the rest of the traffic that has had to slow down because of you is cursing at the first vehicle in line holding up traffic, which is you, rather than appreciating your great on the road driving lesson. But hey, if you can feel good about the education you've now bestowed on your fellow motorists, mad props to you.

I just improvise, if the car behind is going faster, i get the hell outa the lane. either right or left, dont want to get stuck behind a slower car either.

    Lots.
Truck = right lane, except when passing.
Motorcycle = left lane, all the time.
