Hoping for something in the super long range, like 100'+. Seems like every time we use one around he we are stringing a bunch of the 30' together plus the 100' of winch line to get people unstuck. haha May just have to look into synthetic winch line I guess. I'll give the wheelers a look though. Thanks.

Fuck that is expensive!! Everything good is though...

I would go Ben's route and just buy multiple straps for less. Although that rope might take up less space in the end though.

Hell with as long as that rope is you could pull a D8 with a few snatch blocks!

 

Good luck fitting 150' of cable on a typical sized winch. I imagine some of the bigger ones can fit it, but not any that I plan on buying anytime soon. They usually max at about 100'. Plus this would be extra on top of the 100ish' I would already have on a winch.

 

I know , my MIL's husband has a 600' roll of 5/8" double braided polyester line , it's fucking crazy long , 2 football pitches , end to end

No... I don't have a winch yet and probably won't for a while. But I am usually wheeling with somebody who has a winch.

So far twice and then one other time but just a strap would have been fine in that situation. We managed to get a rachet strap to work (when I pulled that Dodge out) but it fell off 3 times mid tow and we had to keep rehooking up.

 

So if this rope is used in idaho, or anyone knows about this rope as logging rope, is idaho part of the PNW?
