Well $hit im at a loss here. Ok so we could have a FJ, a 3rd gen Runner(unless anyone is opposed but it seems that its mostly 3rd gens), and I guess we could have a 1st and 2nd gen. Or we could take a vote?

The more vehicles/colors/designs, the most costly to get stickers and shirts made. How about something with the Toyota Logo? That should cover everyone. If that's okay with Toyota....

If not the Toyota Logo, something with just the name of the club done in good taste. A nice design perhaps. Oh by the way, my friend is a graphic designer and I can ask him to help out once we decide.

He's done things for the Sharks and other teams. They even made one of his designs on their jerseys. Oh and one of his designs on on TV - one of them sports channels.

I think the name would be cool if designed correctly. We could always have multiple logos. If anyone is feeling ambitious and wants to design a sketch really quick, we could definitely take it into consideration. That's really cool! That would be helpful if we decide to have shirts and decals and other stuff.

Dude i hate to burst your bubble but it's really hard to creat a sub group from all other sub groups, and i totally see where you are coming from too to have a tighter group but trust me you won't like a lotta of the guys around us, matter of fact there are some guys around me i coulda care less what they drive they can go fuck themselves. clubs are usually started by a close group of friends with a strong passion in common, like east bay rats and Barf and honestly most of people around here just don't give enough fucks to put in the effort for a club. Shit most of our meets only consist of the regulars, new people usually don't stick around.

I feel it. I'd still like to keep this going though for people that would be interested.

Ok well then how about we create a logo for just the NorCal TW section. I like the name that someone put out, Gold Rush Toys. And we could make decals and stuff.

x2 except for the last part. new people are always welcome and quite a few are becoming regulars now. c'mon Eric, you're starting to sound like the NorCal ttora snobs that you described.

but I agree, starting a club is hard. most of the time spent on this thread is deciding what the logo will be when there are far more important logistics to be figured out with a club. Not to mention that a lot of us on here are on other forums, and when we have meets, those of us on multiple sites post it on those other forums and we have an eclectic group come meet/trip time ;)

Ok so maybe this should have never officially been called a club. More of just a group. Meaning no logistics. Just a logo/decal to give our NorCal section members a cool affiliation

yea I know exactly who you're talkin about ;)

but there are a few other people getting their trucks ready for the next wheeling season. And then you have those people who went to a meet a couple of years ago that sometime make a come back for a particular meet/trip

In the end, it's just a forum. people come, people go. Hell, this is my 3rd tacoma forum

    ...too much shit to list.
Eric...mark your calendar. I completely agree with you.

Personally, I don't like it at all. Makes us sound like a bunch of old fawks with pick axes stuck in the 19th century. California was a "gold rush" state over 150 years ago.
