Just ordered a nfab light bar, now should I order two sets of hella 500ff (side note: 500 or 700?) and convert them to HID, or get the okledlightbars " duallys, with two center lights being spot, and side being flood.

For driving down backroads in Texas, not really offroading. And the places I go I've never seen cops. but but in case, I plan to wore them so they'll only be able to come on when the rights are on.

Two spot/two flood will give you a nice mix of spread.

LEDs will always be more reliable and much lower draw than incandescent lights, though the pattern may not be as desirable.

Really what's "best" depends on your application.

A company that names themself "ok led bars" kinds scares me

They're claiming that their lights are just "ok"

Because GG whored themselves out offering sponsorships? Pretty simple to do, and of course the drivers of those vehicles aren't going to complain because the red ring HIDs they receive from GG all come from the same place in china. They just get them for free and in return have to put a couple stickers on their trucks.

GG's led bars and customer service is what lacks.

I may be wrong.. But I hardly see any GG sponsored vehicles running red ring HIDs

Actually just confirmed that. Checked out their sponsored rides page on their site.

Ill go ahead and be the bigger man and just take a step away here before this turns into an Internet argument.

I'll be the smaller man and continue on.

On GG's page the second 'sponsored' truck had generic red ring HIDs. The first one has converted hella HIDs which Cody probably did himself. There's a reason the company's name is bleeped out when you try to type it into this site - a horrible reputation for customer service.

To the OP - OKledlightbars on the other hand I've had some great customer service from. Prices are more then decent for the LED's, and the quality of the lights themselves are spot on. I even have a 20" bar for my duck-boat which is constantly out in the worst elements including facing saltwater on a weekly basis. Still hold up great, so that's my recomendation.

GG price matches, offers a lifetime warranty, pays for insurance out of pocket on shipping and provides some of the highest quality lighting around

Thanks and have a great night

X2 on GG Litings horrible customer service. I can offer you anything in the world, but trying to actually get it is a different story. I used to sell for this guy(Cody) and when it came time to pay me I had to threaten to come see him in person before he paid up. Did us wrong on a group buy here and on a couple other forums( if you want to know which ones PM me). Homeboy has owed me a single HID bulb since Feb and won't even return my texts/ calls. If he can't take care of someone who sold for him then I would be really skeptical if I were you
