Nick said he works Sundays so that's out unless we can find a better spot? Problem is nicks garage spoiled us all last time lol. Sunday works better than Saturday for me as I have the baby with me all day, but this isn't about just me. I'm switching my days off to Friday Saturday for the summer so Fridays will be a viable option for me as well. Nick is off then too.

You know any passable trails right now? Its sketchy wheeling season, so I'd like to keep my truck in one piece for the real fun stuff. But if theres something fun that we can all get through I'm totally down! I'm looking at this one as like a 'prep for the season' meetup.

^ that's a good idea. Have a mod day to get all the mods/maintenance done for post break up shenanigans! I'd definately be down for a little wheelin though if there's something doable. I know there's snow in the forecast this weekend again unfortunately

I went out to Jim's creek last weekend with a few friends, it was muddy, but we got through about half way to the glacier.

Not hating on the idea at all, i just dont know of any places that'll be anything short of dangerous for the trucks.

If you guys haven't noticed haha I don't want to go out just to get muddy, I like wheeling for the challenge, the comradery, and the destination. My idea of off-roading isn't finding a big mud pit and trying to get through it, granted if there's more trail on the other side and it has to be passed then by all means, fly on through and enjoy it. But in general, I like to try and be pretty smart about where I put us. Our group is large enough that it makes difficult trails REALLY lame if everyone doesn't have the proper setup (winch, straps, tires, etc) it can take a REALLY long time to navigate some of these trails.

I've been stuck a fair amount doing dumb stuff in my now mostly stock truck, bur as I put more money into it and REALLY get into the sport of overlanding/wheeling, the more i appreciate having a working rig and not putting it in jeopardy is a big part of that.

As much as i want to go out and play i just know that the trails are super swampy, virtually impassable, and VERY deceiving. To me it's not worth the risk unless someone knows a place that's pretty well navigatable.

Anyway, that's my soapbox about all that :)

You know what sucks, the fact the that well for one the base probably has the best trails as far as everyone being able to navigate no matter your set up but it's too hard to get everyone on and on top of that your not suppose to have anything over 1500Ibs on any of those trails so getting caught with 15+ tacos that weigh no less than 5k Ibs stock would be horrible haha. Unfortunately I don't really have any experience with any other trials around the area aside from trails on base. I wonder how hard it would be to get a legit wheeling park like some of these places down in the lower 48?

Well there seems to be hangups at every corner. Mod day requires a big space to work on, cant seem to find one. Trail run requires trails to be passable, cant seemto find one. Burger and hangout meet might be our best bet in this weird season. We're also buying a house so thats kept me pretty busy :)

How about monday the 22nd getting together for some grub?
