Thanks man! I bought this as a commuter truck cause my lifted Tundra gets shit for gas mileage. I told myself I wouldn't mod it too much...in one week I got wheels, tires, shell, de-chromed, bed mat, ordered Ultragauge and soon I'll order the Eibach/5100's once the Eibach gets back in stock. This weekend i plan on painting the grill and bumpers black. Guess i failed in not modding it....stock just seems so blahhh

As soon as i found TW i was like...F-It there's goes the checking account.

 

Just make sure you install the clamp on the passenger side correctly. I installed mine upside down. I couldn't get the top nut off to correct the problem. Luckily I know some folks at my local toyota dealer and they were able to correct my problem. Had to order a new stud, nut and bolt.

 

Ordered a rebuild kit and handle holder for my hi-lift (actually my dad's). It's an old model #10, tired of using a trick to get it to jack down instead of free fallowing.

 

I was flip flopping between the single din flip out or double din. I like the single because it saves the pocket below for a CB if I ever install on there. But I hate the extra moving parts. My buddy had a JVC or Panasonic flip out in his old truck and it only lasted 2 years before the motor gave out. I also didn't want it to block the AC/heater controls.

We'll see how this one is works for me. The faceplate is motorized so it changes angles depending on where it's mounted in the dash, so that will come in very handy with out low our stereos sit in the dash.

I just went out to the truck to start installing my old crappy sub/amp from my last car. It's been sitting in the garage for over two years. I started looking at it and pulled it apart. It is such a piece of shit I'm just going to throw it away and get a custom made box to fit the sub/amp I want. That won't happen for a while longer though. Gonna get one molded out of fiberglass to fit the floor behind my seat or the passenger seat.

 

Installed a hitch receiver. Then used "I need to be able to re torque the bolts (kinda like re torquing your lugs after the first 100 miles) as an excuse to pull 3k around "the block".
