Just ordered my OME setup...hopefully the fonts won't kick my ass. I also bought the LR UCA's.

I have the 885x with 5100's set at zero and the Toytec top spacer kit installed and it started making a clunk/thud sound from the passenger side going over bumps. Took it to the Truck Shop here in San Diego and they told me that my shocks were maxed out and that's why it made that noise. I had the spacers removed and the noise went away. Could the 5100's be valved differently depending on where you buy them or is it just my truck that can't seem to achieve this lift. I know a lot of people running the same set up with no problem.

OK looks much better now. I was hoping you weren't done.
In the other pic I couldn't see you already had an ARB bumper.

Nope. Not done. I have a few hundred # in the bed I need to take out and I am on a hill in the pic so it looks bad still with the spacing.

The skids will balance it out nicely. Once I can afford them...

I got their progressive AAL. Those are the u-bolts and all that I can't use since I have the u-bolt flip.

Ok, I need a picture request. Does anybody have a pic of the OME kit installed without any spacers up front 885's for DCSB and 265/75/16 tires?

I have 885's and 265/75/16's, but I installed the top plate spacers, so this pic is close to what you're looking for...see my pics for more

I have 886s with a front bumper and the same tire size if that will help you at all, check my pics.

now is it harmful to the truck if you have 886s up front with no bumper or winch?

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Not IMHO. If you were running the wrong shocks it could be at full extension, but that isn't any issue if you bought the kit. I didn't run a bumper or heavy skid for a year, but I kept it on the pavement.

^^This. I imagine the ride was a lot harsher without the extra weight.

If I'm going to put 882's on a 2000 Tacoma PreRunner do I need new shocks as well? I will most likely be putting an ARB bull bar on soon after getting the suspension sorted.

I started a post , but I guess this is were I should have asked.I don’t want to lift my truck. But I would like a better ride. I know I can use the 5100 Blisteins , but I would like to use the 90000 OME. What coils can I use with them to keep the stock height ( or as close as possible). Thanks for you help.
