Nice build you got going. I like that Rhino Lining on the fenders and body. It was in the bed too right? How's that Icon suspension on roads? I am thinking about upgrading mine to make it a bit more rugged but I'm not doing any tough off road traveling but occasionally some rutty dirt roads to get to some rock climbing so I was thinking about putting in the same shocks and springs on the TRD Baja T|X. Any recommendations?

The Icon suspension is great on or off road, you won't be dissapointed if you put it on. Going to put their "bump stops" on the rear soon and possibly convert my resi's to adjustables.

Sorry, yes the Rhino lining is in the bed it reall protects the rockers and flares and in the bed it keeps stuff from slididng around.

You ran the newer General ATs for a while didn't you tacovendor? Those will be my next if not another set of Treadwtights. I think I will go down a size from 285/75s.

I'm geared for 33's, the Generals were heavy and stiff. I'm running Discount Tires Rocky Mountain which are Falken Wildpeaks on my FJ and love them, hands down the best all around tire I have ran.

Starting some reconfiguring of Kifaru. I've been so impressed with the Falken Rocky Mountains on my FJ that I've decided to put them on the truck. They're mounted on Level 8 Motorsports "Guardian" wheels, tires are 285/75/16's. The truck handles a 100% better and I noticed better mileage. Love the look of these...

I have got to say your tacoma is one of the best looking tacomas I have seen. Good work man.

I have been looking into new tires and the guy at discount tire mentioned these. How are they holding up as I read reviews that said they wear fast.

I've been running them on my Fj and they are the best tire I have run on it, I've had BFG's and General red letters and these are the best.

Needless to say, Tacovendor, you've built an outstanding rig. I dig it much.

I simply have one question regarding your previous stock rims and 255/85/16 KM2 BFGs combo. Did you have to add a spacer or was the stock backspace enough to accommodate the new tires? I believe it's 4.75" for those 16x7 five star steelies. Thanks in advance - keep the great build going!

Pretty much what i needed to know. The Falkens are quite a bit cheaper then the BFG LL terrains that i usually go with,i think im going to give the falkins a try

No rubbing problems, they're only 9.5" wide though.

How much noise did the BFG 255/85R16s make? I've been thinking about an upgrade for my truck.

The first pictures in the Sierra Nevada mountains, where exactly is that?
Love the build though. I am going for an overland and it's definitely an inspiration.
