Lovely..so our lovely state now wants to raise the cigarette tax AGAIN by $1 or more. Oh and add another 3 cents a gallon to the fuel tax and index it to inflation.

Why? To bail out the MBTA.

So let's see..they say fuel consumption is decreasing so they need to tax it more. Weren't they trying to get us to reduce our dependence on fuel in the first place?

Nobody has to tell me smoking isn't great for me, but it is my choice as an adult. If they're that worried they would ban the fukkn things..oh yeah then they'd lose tax revenue.

    FESTIVE!:kona:

Only good part is it might just make me give them up.

Fuel filter was clogged but we threw in a 255 walboro pump and universal rave filter. The stock m50 revs too around 7500. His is a vanos m50. Just did a pull to the limiter around 9900 pulling the SD card now too see what we logged

I'm back to spitting. $4.57 FTW. studies say your first ever dip is equivalent to smoke a pack in a half hour time. Plus I don't smell like smoke and don't have to hide that smell from the lady

$8 and change Evan. I'm heading up to Foxwoods this weekend, too bad I don't go through New Hampshire..last fall when I went there for the Witch City Open I grabbed a carton of Newports for $50 something

Don't even get me started with all the bullshit taxes so the entire state can support a failing system  God forbid we actually fix the problem but no, let's just throw more money into the endless pit rather than make it self sufficient or... wait for it... actually make it turn a profit

/rant... sorry, very bitter topic for me... I haven't been able to listen to the radio in a while

Not a fan of either candidate in that area. But let's face it, no matter who is in power they'll always tax more and go after the minority with them. Think they'll ever tax milk that much? Hell no.

Not sure how much but dip and cigars will go up too

So we use less fuel..which is what we were encouraged to do..and we'll pay more in fuel tax to fix public transportation. But if we use public transportation instead, we'll buy even less fuel. Anyone else see the hypocricy?

Mike, better yet let them have to spend less like everyone else. My company had layoffs when times were tough.

Crazy idea..require welfare recipients to work the toll booths. You can axe how many people's relatives making near $100k to stand there? And save money on the automatic ones they want to do everywhere now..

They should just run the MBTA at peak hours when people take it. I've seen a bus with 1 person on it. Like wtf walk the 1 mile you need to go. Why shut the train down at 11? When the game ends later? How will they get home? It's stupid. RIPTA in RI is efficient and has more debt then mass and they have their shit figured out. The roads suck complete dick but I see RI recovering more and more each year.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Dude, milk is subsidized by tax money. Same as corn. Half the reason they started making corn into ethanol was because we had way too much of the shit because we pay farmers to grow it instead of other crops. No point taxing shit that taxes already pay for.
