I don't want them, but why are you ditching the UCAs?

And by the way, that popping noise is your LCA bushings. My 07 did the exact same thing. If you setup your gopro under there pointed at the bushings, and take it for a drive, you'll see the bushings plunging in and out as you accelerate or brake.

Actually, it did need tires because the rugged fails were dry rotted

Only while braking probably means it's just the floating brakes moving back and forth. If it happened while he was driving at slow speed and turning, I'd agree with you. My bushings are going right now.

I'll check it out with the gopro anyway. Speaking of gopro, got to empty my cards and make sure the batteries are all charged.

Same here, but Bill has my GoPro. About to text him and tell him to charge the batteries lol

Bill and I will be there.

We will be leaving my place at 6:30, we have to stop by home depot, and the alignment place on the way. I can't drive my truck all the way there with it's current alignment.

Justin, and Matt. I'll text you guys in the morning to see what time you guys plan to be where.

I think I got a wheel out of balance today had good vibration between 50&60 mph or there was a good bit of mud caked up on a wheel. But it is time for a rotate and balance anyway so it's all good.

Thanks, it's still a work in progress. I'll get there eventually, though.

Cool pics Brian! I like how mine and Paul's trucks are peeking out behind the trees! Lol

I believe a few people threw out their alignment on the rocks. Mine is way off!

Had a fucking AWESOME time by the way! Can't wait to get all the pics and video setup!

I don't think it threw mine off, suprisingly, because I let go of the steering wheel on the way on doing about 80mph and it tracked straight!.
You and Justin must have booked it home because yall straight up left me! I was hitting 85-90 mph just trying to catch up! I hit 20/59 and said f-it and slowed back down to 65-70 the rest of the way home. It was hard keeping the truck at 80mph with those tires in the back!
EDIT: I can't wait to see all the videos, especially the one of me and kyle crawling threw the creek. Who would have thought a truck with open diffs and 2 inch spacer lift with aal would have crawled that creek better than one with 9 inches of lift and 35's with a mechanical lsd.:headbang:

Your truck can still drive straight, even with a bad alignment. You can always do the string test to check, it's free.

We were at the gas station across from Denny's when you guys went by. So we were behind you.

Kyle's downfall in the creek was the DB lift which kept catching on everything, and the fact that he had mud tires.

Street tires get better traction on rock then mud tires. The more rubber contact, the better traction.

The automatic tranny probably helped make it a bit easier, too.

You did great though, everyone did! Best fucking off-road trip we've had!
