i have no idea. but it only takes maybe 1/2 oz to make a difference. let alone 4. haha. it was REALLLLY shaky yesterday. contemplated taking the subaru to girdwood instead. but it was just that 45-50ish range, so it was not bad the whole highway. its better now, though now its a bit shakey (not so much wobbly) at 65. i dont remember it being like that last summer. i obviously expect these M.T.s to ride different than my witner all terrains. but yea.

Yea, i don't remember seeing John at the resort. I would have noticed his truck (id think). he might have parked by the tram anyway. I parked on the other side this time

Which location did you take it too? I had mine done at the Dimond location last spring and one was off by 4oz and one didn't even have any weights.

Anybody here ever install a parking brake bypass switch for a stereo before? Tonight I got the harness all ready to go and connected so I can install it after work tomorrow, but I have no idea how to bypass the parking brake wire.

It's really easy just take the wire from the radio and attach it to a on off switch then take a piece if wire and find a good ground location and fasten it down then attach the other end to the switch. You will have to turn the switch on then off and it will work.

Ok. That's what I thought I would do. But I was reading and read something about newer double dins having some sort of gyro in them to sense if the car is moving or not. What I'll do is hook it up to a battery in the garage tomorrow and run the switch to the ground and try that. see what happens and if that works then I'll do that in my truck as well.

That's pretty interesting I will have to look at those. I wonder how to bypass those systems.

Now that I thought about it, I bet the gyro is for nav. units to sense which direction the vehicle is moving easier. Mine is not a nav. unit so I don't think I'll have an issue. We'll see though.

Depends on the double din, mine i had to wire it to a switch because it pulses twice so that you cant just ground it.

Well I'll just test it with a switch and see what happens. I really wouldn't mind actually splicing into the parking brake wire, but I don't know where that is lol.

Any updates will render that useless :)

Parking brake wire is easy to find, im sure you can track down one end.....as its connected to the parking brake :)

Okay so I know this stupid but I'm on the Slope and am trying to order some bars for my Thule rack for my new SnugTop...so I need some help.
Which one of the Alaska posse can tell me how wide the beds of our gen 2's are? Mine is a '13 which I'm sure is the same as....whatever several years at least. doesn't need to be exact but I don't want to order something way too short/long you know what I mean?

    Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?
