I just welded someones Muffler yesterday on post with a cheap HF one they picked up. No issues and my bead was pretty as the lady said. Continuous and consistent. Smooth with NO grinding needed. So yeah, I do not see what all the fuss is about.

exactly. the 135s are rated to 3/16 but ive seen them do almost half inch pretty well. dont think ill need anything over 3/16 anyway. and if Anthony trusts burrys little welder to hold half his truck together  then i think it'll do fine for bumpers and such

I wouldn't take my truck back to eta if they were the last 4x4 shop on the planet. The only reason I went there in the first place was I had a buddy that worked the counter and I worked really close to it. I do most of my own work and I only took it there for alignments and mounting tires. The owner was rude to me on more than one occasion and they jerked me around a lot about my alignment, which should not have been a big deal. First I needed adjustable control arms, they still couldn't get it right. Then I needed adjustable struts, this was my third alignment there and they said it was finally right. Now that I have brand new tires that are square it looks like I'm running positive camber on one side and negative on the other! I think they cheated the specs to get me to leave. I'm sure if I were spending a bunch of money at one time things would have been different. I feel like because I only went there for small stuff they didn't really take the time to make sure it was right.

Same here -- they did the worst job on my cab mount chop and charged me way too much. It wasn't even worth arguing with them, I'm just going to have to pay for re-work. THey also tried to keep some of my parts, But it was " an accident" had to go around and around with them to get get my stock parts back.

Lesson learned. I won't be going back there. Over priced without the worksmanship to justify it.

They did the same thing to me ! I bought a set of tires that were mounted on16x12 8lug wheels and when I had them swapped over they put my old tires in the back of my truck but there were no rims. When I asked about it the dude goes " oh I didn't think you wanted those back"

I spent 30min looking for the IceCream last night. The wife kept telling me it was in there. I called the store and even went back there to see if I left a bag. Decided to get another icecream since I couldn't find the one I bought earlier.

On the way home, I thought, "Oh shit, she did it again, I bet it's in the Refridgerator!"

sure enough. The MILK was under the sink, and the Ice Cream was in the fridge...
