Sounds about right? Tell me you have some critical thinking skills? You're hearing ONE side of the story. If he kept brake-checking them, it's probably because they were being total A-Holes and riding his ASS constantly and not letting up!

I mean come on, if someone has "brake-checked" you twice and you slam into the back of them on the 3rd time they do it - you are riding their ASS and being a Total Jerk.

based on the video the guy is a few cards short of a full deck.
for all we know the guy could have had some existing damage on the rear end and was trying to get rear ended so he could get insurance to pay for repairs.

First off, brake checking is the last appropriate way to handle things if you are going to try and talk about critical thinking skills. The guy went psycho, pretty much nothing could validate him acting this way. I understand if he is has mental illness but this does NOT make it ok to act like this and the damage he did to the guys car should be punished IMHO. The poor people in the car probably have PTSD from that dipshit acting like that.

The events that led up to the video are irrelevant because that behavior is inexcusable under all circumstances. I was just pointing out that his melt down was most likely from the very same issues that nearly every infantry Marine deals with after a deployment. Going bat shit crazy actually happens alot, but its usually in the barracks and after a few beers.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Wait a second here, and I'm not just going to limit this to the military and PTSD or even just this incident, but when someone commits a crime they should still be punished for their crime despite their mental condition. Should this guy have a lot of therapy, yes; but to excuse his behavior because of it is ridiculous.

I'm tired of cases being thrown out or reduced due to a mental health status. If Holmes is proven crazy, should he be null and void of jail time? This defense is used too many times to excuse the crime and avoid punishment for the actions taken.

To this case specifically, I'm not saying what he did is worth jail time, but whatever punishment you or I would receive for the same, should be what he gets. Then if it is determined he has a mental health disorder, it should also be court mandated that he seeks help to prevent this from reoccurring.

Ive met a guy with really bad PTSD and i can tell you that shit will make you a whole different person, Imagine being drunk all of the sudden and not knowing what how you have become that way but you feel massively angry and that everyone is out to get you. Believe me PTSD is no joke, We should never be quick to jail our returned serviceman. Mental help is the first and foremost important thing, I blame the government for not giving them the help they need the day they return!

Honestly, I wouldn't be so quick to pass it off as just military and PTSD. Plenty of civilians have acted the way that marine did. He may have been a hothead before the corps.

True but in my mind, ALL serviceman deserve respect. Im not sure of the backstory but his actions may have very well been justified. If someone was driving in a manner that put my life and my passenger at risk, You bet your ass i would get out and act the same way.

I can tell you that I know for a fact that there is help for all servicemen in all the branches for PTSD that quite honestly could fix it and not just put a band aid on it. I can also tell you for a fact that the hold up is the FDA. All of the branches are on board and there is already something in place but the FDA is holding it up.

While I would love to give the guy a beating of his lifetime....That is the typical ignorant response by all of us because we make judgements and create opinions before learning all of the information.
