Where are ya in Oregon, Quinn?

Boat is down at Fred Wahl's in Reedsport - just spent a few days in Newport. I'm in Salem right now, was going to drive back to Bellingham last night and was beat tired..

Oh, and I've still got the right color license plate too!

88th. It's literally right behind my work. That's interesting. This is why I need some aftermarket wheels so I can do my own tire swaps. Ugh

8-14" of snow and highs in the 20's this week?? I call BS on that. April is such a swing month.

Oh wow, when I finally convinced an owner to let me come back in I asked to go to the 88th location and the guys in the back were shocked how off they were and even had me come back so I could see it for myself. Even though they fixed it I still won't be going back there again. Balancing a wheel can't get much easier and clearly it's still a problem for them. :notsure:

That's Alaska Tire? I go there every year and have never had an issue...although I've never had tires that are hard to balance either. When I get my new tires I may look elsewhere to balance them.

    Also, where do you work?

    Yep.. Same here.

Kodiak. Then Newport, OR, then Reedsport. Then Newport, then Reedsport. Then Bellingham.

All in the last 5 days.

So I'm seriously contemplating plastidipping the whole truck blaze orange. It looks like it can be done for about 300 bucks

You can get orange plastidip? Have you looked into vinyl wraps?

Yeah, the cost is more than triple. Not sure about durability though, which would be stronger you think?

Vinyl by far. I would think anyway. It won't peel and fade. like plastidip does. Also way easier to clean than plastidip.

Planning on putting line-x or something on mine in a few years. White Toyota paint really is paper thin...

The vinyl. If you scratch the plastidip it'll all just start peeling. The vinyl would hold up much better, and look better too IMO.

Since the whole idea with plastidip is that you can always just peel it right off if you don't like it, my first thought is that it most likely really isn't durable at all.
