I just finished fixing my anti's computer, and I'm getting ready to head out to Pearl City to drop some Craig's List stuff off, I might stop by on my way back.

about 75% done. I got the drivers side done. man you werent kidding.... that was the biggest bitch ever. I figure the passenger side will be pretty quick.

Did you cut the bolt or bend the metal?

i cut the bolt. the hard part was putting the new one in.

Yeah i didn't get a chance to do anything but work on the UCA's i did cut out the triangles but today im going to bondo them and sand them down then start prepping for paint and the bolts for the grill.

 

Did you do your cmc mod yet? Do you have your cmc plates? I might end up selling mines from bamf. So far I'm not rubbing and idk if I wanna do them due to the amount of times I'll be going to the beach... Holla if you need them

 

yeah, I ended up doing the passenger side first thought it was gonna be smooth...took twice as long on the driver side.

whats cmc?? r u talking about cutting the body mounts? im planning on doing it soon because i am rubbing pretty bad on sharp turns when i hit bumps.

the passenger side took twice as long??? damn today i did it and it took maybe 2 hours... started super late today tho.

Got the UCA's done and torqued to spec. Just gotta finish the final touches on the satoshi grill. its not as nice as i want it, i need to sand a bit more to make it more smooth i can still see a lot of the edges where i cut so im going to go get a few different grit sand papers and re-sand it...

i think i sanded my first layer paint too soon so it kinda messed it up. But its an easy fix. just another days work. The triangles are pau tho.

 

howzit everyone, I just got my 2010 tacoma access cab 4x4. its completely stock as far as suspension and tires. im also new to the island. (moved here from big island) would i be able to fool around at kaena point? wanted to get the truck dirty and away from the city, but i havnt been there before and dont know the terrain.

 

i went kayaking/ snorkeling at kaena last week. i couldnt find anywhere to off road. but id love to find a spot
