Yeah that electrical connector kinda gets in the way and there isnt much room for it up there. After moving it around for a few minutes i was able to find a spot to hide it. Just keep playing with.

Hiding wasn't the issue. The headliner sits low with all that stuffed up in there. LOL.

my mirror hides too much to move it up like that, lol

mainly the dash cam. I'd move it higher but the suction cup wont stick because of the black dot shading crap...

haha, I've had the system kicking around for about a month now and finally decided to install it. installed a field proximity sensor on the back cab wall in hopes of maybe using it to secure anything that might be in the bed a little, but I think my CB antenna amplifies its sensitivity WAY too much now matter how low I adjust it. all you had to do was be within sight of the truck and the alarm would go off, lol. so I had to unplug that... just going off the shock sensor.

it's an older Python 881XP that I picked up used, but I got the entire system for less than $30 and it really does all I need it to do; monitor the doors, shock sensor, and the remote start is just a plus, lol

probably going to have to try a different bypass though; this one is prooving to be finicky... not wanting to work sometimes. stick a key in the ignition though and it'll fire right up, but I'm not about to just leave a key in the ignition every time just to be sure :p

I have done an alarm, and didn't think it was too bad. But my buddy did a remote start and it took him like 8 hrs. Screw that, my time is worth more than that. I dropped my truck off yesterday at 9:45 am, picked up at 1:30. A lifetime warranty too!! And I painted my summer rims in the meantime. It was worth it to me.

yeah the alarm itself is pretty simple; it's when you get into all the IGN 1 and 2 lines, starter outputs, and so on and so forth that things get a little crazy, and then trying to get all those THICK wires to tuck away under the dash...
