topper ?

thinking of getting a leer topper for the truck got a price of 1600 is that a good price?

Which model are you looking into? Also what options?

I just got my Leer 100XR w/the removable front slider, 12V light, and carpet roof for that price.

 

looking into the 100xq hopefully with the removable slider and the one piece side windows. how much did u pay for yours?

 

I paid $1600 for mine. That price includes install and all.

I think $1600 for the XQ would be a fair price.

Paid $1536 for a 100xr installed. Includes removeable front slider, carpet headliner, clothes hanger, 12v light, and remote lock. For the remote lock I had to upgrade to the twist handle lock, the flip lock comes standard with the xr.

 

Installation is included from a Leer dealer. I just bought a Leer 100XQ with Thule tracks only, tip-out front window, gear net and 12 volt power block $1956.00 and that included 6% sales tax. Ron

 

i have the leer xq with all th options for $500 used on craiglist.carpet rear slider and drop down window,roof racks,brake light it is mint.

My cousin recently got the Leer XR with the twist lock, drop down front window, carpet lined and led brake lights, 12V light (all standard) and paid $1250 plus tax installed. The going price around here for the XR's is above. The XQ's and XL's are about $1600-$1800 so $1600 for the XR's is a bit too much.

I bought a 100XQ back in October of 08. Paid $1,560 installed (included a $75 discount coupon from the Leer website). The only additional option I got was the removable rear window for $60. The XQ comes standard with one-piece side windows, hidden rear window hinges, head liner, and cargo light.

Based on my shopping experience, that's not a bad price if it includes the same things that I got, but it doesn't hurt to check other dealers as well. Pricing varies greatly between dealers.
