    I was hoping to have it launched this weekend, but a few last-minute things came up. It will be launched this coming week for certain. I've been tweaking my kickstarter page for almost 2 weeks now. I was all set to launch it today but had somebody provide some feedback and they made some good points about things that need to be re-worded. I also want to make a new demonstration video, which I hope to do tomorrow.

    I will release this bit of info though -- the pledge amount will be $165, not including shipping. This is an "introductory price" for the first 150 backers. I'm not allowed to call it a discount, but whatever you call it, it's a damn good deal. :)

    And I reiterate -- this version will work for both AC's and DC's. :cool:

    The current AC kit is still only available to Seattle locals. However if you want to fly me out there, I'll install one in your truck for free! ;)

    I am completely unfamiliar with how Kickstarter works. Does that buy-in assure us a finished product, like paying up-front? Or is it more like a deposit, where we pay again once the finished product is ready? Assuming everything goes through as planned and there ends up being a finished product, of course.

    The buy-in assures a finished product. Each backer pledges $165 (doesn't incuding shipping cost of ~$15). If there are enough backers to meet the budget goal, then each backer will receive a kit. If there are not enough backers to meet the budget goal, then it is a no-go and no money changes hands.
