Back on topic...

This trip, if I make it, which I'm sure I'm gonna do, is gonna be a sorta of a last hurrah for me, considering it's back to college after that and no time... Plus, I'm looking forward to all the awesome photo opps...

Monte: I'm gonna be super busy this summer, but hopefully I can make both this and the WY mini Bighorn Mountains meet.

At least in the high mountains, late August is the end (or nearly) of the wheeling season. Then for you college boys, back to school time. That is kind of how Magruder/Lolo was last year.

btw, is that beer? I hear you might prefer a shot of some smooth whiskey/bourbon.

 

I am a bourbon whiskey guy..thanks to my dad. I like a shot or two. Nothing more then that though usually.

And yes..always fun.

 

"smooth" whiskey/bourbon does not exist with me. I make the oh fuck face and gag...every time. Beer is mah calling lol. I can take mixed drinks all right...but not straight lol. Except, yes ben, schnapps.

 

I have not had two beers I liked. Was at a local brewery.

Other then that. I don't like beer at all. I drink bourbon whiskey straight no chaser.

I'm gonna bring something special for you to try. It is not a whiskey, it is a whisky. A Canadian blend actually, called Pendelton. Soooooo smoooooth. Very easy to sip straight with just an ice cube or two.

 

but beers are soo goo! All the different flavors
And then real dark shit...like dark lagers, it's like fucking desert in a bottle!

I like beer too. Maybe too much. End up drinking too much sometimes, give me the shits the next day. Not good when your out wheelin.

Yeah ask him. I've heard of rye whiskey but I've never tried any before.

 

Yea that's what it is. Quite smooth. Most the flavor is an after taste. Kinda odd stuff.

Bourbon is meant to be sipped, not shotted <-- nice word.

 

Bleh!!! I can't stand the taste or smell of whiskey... might as well be drinking rubbing alcohol... I can't even sip the stuff I find it so awful tasting... When it comes to liquor I prefer tequila myself Nothing like a margarita with the strong taste of Cuervo in it. I have a fifth of Silver Cuervo in the freezer right now. Pretty easy to shoot tequila too, don't even need a chaser or a lime really. Vodka is good in some mixed drinks not sure if I can still shoot it. Haven't had any in several years now.

When it comes to drinking, I prefer beer myself though. I can drink (choke down) IPA's and dark beers, but I don't like them really. I prefer amber beers myself. My favorite beer hands down has been Sam Adam's Octoberfest, too bad it's a seasonal beer So I stock up on it during the like 2 months out of the year you can buy it. My cheap drink is Coors or Keystone if I am feeling really cheap. haha
