I pulled WHAT outta my WHERE?

Notice how I used a qualifier..."not as easy". The extra flex the SA gives will keep the truck more level, yes. But the LT front locked Taco on 35's can still make it past those obstacles. Not to mention...ohh the benefits of an IFS on the street and in high speed wheeling. I like a truck that can do it all...follow the JK's through the rocks, then hop out on the sand wash and chase a full LT prerunner through the whoops, then hop back on pavement and get my ass to work and school. THAT is my ideal setup, which is what I'm shooting for with my build. Not to mention, no "death wobble".

Sure, if you pour the same amount into a Taco as ^^^THESE^^^ guys have, you'll have the most beastly Tacoma known to man. We routinely build Jeeps over $200k.

We all know the issues of the second gens, and when I researched vehicles, along with the help of some friends (Thanks John!), we found that the 09 and later Tacos have lost reliability, while the reliability of the Jeeps from '11 and up, have shot up. The 12 jeeps are rated "excelent" accross the board, with the only "con" being the ride.......wich....at normal speeds, is better than my Taco  . Further researching issues of the Jeeps, has shown a HUGE increase in dealer support. If somthing breaks off roading, they still cover it under warranty. Trust me, for what Im into the jeep for, If this thing is a POS, I can dump it tomorrow, and still come out between 8 to 15k ahead, at the worst.

reports on clock springs, rear spring weakness, HVAC fan (which is pretty much solved now), windshield leaks, prematurly sagging front springs. Thos are the most common. The most common on the Jeeps from what I have seen, is the clock spring, but that was fixed in early to mid '12......and.....that some seem to randomly catch fire........but Im insured for that......

Those can be fixed pretty easily though.
Clock spring and windshield I have no clue on, but suspensions are an easy DIY upgrade.
HVAC fan replacement under TSB, or order from rockauto for $100. Done.

The solid axles on the Jeeps are nice, but I would rather have the reliability of a Toyota.
I still think you'd be better off with this:

I thought about one of those, but I couldnt find one in silver, and the rear space was deceptively small.
