Hi everyone ... I've been viewing TW for some time and have finally decided to become a member. I currently drive a 2005 Ford Ranger Edge but, before the bashing begins , I have had my eyes set on getting a new TRD Sport Tacoma (manual transmission, 4.0, double cab) for some time now. I would love to have a mid-size truck and that is something Ford just doesn't really offer. I'm thoroughly impressed with the look of the current Tacoma and really like the available features and specifications. I have not set a time frame for making the purchase, more or less I'm just waiting for the perfect time to pick up a new truck. It's likely I won't until the 2009 model but I definately enjoy coming here to see what everyone has to say about their truck and the modification work that is being done. You probably won't see much from me on the forums until I do get a Tacoma but I will frequent this site in anticipation of driving mine one day!

I'm not getting rid of the Edge as I have had that truck since mile "1" and it's been paid off for several years now ... it's just time for a larger vehicle.

I dont have the DC, but I must say that the Ext cab TRD Sport 6spd manual is on point. Love the ride, sometimes just hard to believe it's a truck. Such a smooth ride. Instant power. Yet so many options that I need to take advantage of..

Have at it... More than worth it.
