actually they offered me 24k and with the tax savings of the truck I was going to buy i would save $1,500 in taxes so basically that makes my trade $25,500 in my eyes vs selling it on my own and then paying $2,000 in taxes on the next vehicle. The reason I didn't trade it yet was that dealership had me sign all the paperwork and we agreed on the numbers and when I went to sign the last paper they snuck in another $250! Might not sound like much but it was the principle. I stood up and walked out because I told them that was shady and I don't deal with shady people. haha they called me back the next morning (yesterday) and appologized but it is whatever.

Man that's a great trade in value. Ill would have taken that. $250 is documentation fee.

na it wasn't the doc fee. That was already in there. But IDK maybe I will go back in. Not in a huge hurry just looking around.
