Will any 6x9 fit in the front door of a 09 double cab? I looked on the crutchfield website and it is saying no 6x9 will fit in there, only a handfull of 6 1/2's. If I use the adapter kits from taco tunes will I be able to put in an alpine SPR-69C in the front (mount depth 3") and a SPS-600n6 1/2 (2 1/8 mount depth, 5 9/16 cutout diameter) in the rear doors? Please help before I buy something that wont fit!

If you want to get to the heart of it, the speaker opening is a custom shape and requires a custom baffle. After that, it comes down to an issue of mounting depth. to ensure the window will clear the speaker's magnet as it rolls down.

I haven't done the research on mount depths - I would contact Mr. Marv for both the baffles and advice on which speakers. Not only can he give you the advice you need on speakers, he can make you the baffles that will fit the speakers you get. Also with Marv, he will actually pick up the phone AND deliver a product... ********* won't necessarily do either of those!

I want to echo this post. Where can you find, in any industry, personal access to your fabricator like Marv (he lists his cell phone on his posts). Heck, he even helps people that doesn't do business with him. He is a class act, who's dedicated to the sport of Audio, we should be so lucky to have his assistance. I've been around a long time and Marv is truly at the top of his game in BOTH a quality product and quality service. He'll not only sell you gear, he'll make it fit (with world class construction to boot) and make sure it's tuned right. He knows customer service is more than being helpful, he won't stop until you've been 100% satisfied.

And no I don't have a Mr. Marv tattoo on my arm, I just respect a guy who works as hard as he does for his business!

    Rob
